Grilled Butternut Squash Pizza
I love grilling pizza. It's so easy and once you get the hang of it, boxed pizza may be a distant memory -- you may also decide to retire your pizza stone forever!
I used to have a pizza stone reserved for scratch-made pizza. However, it fell out of the original box, toppling down the stairs and knocked a hole in my wall! I prefer scratch-made pizza and I’d always heard pizza was easy to make on the grill. So I gave it a try and guess what--it is easy, once you get the technique down. Plus--there’s no delivery fee or tip! I’ve included a recipe and a video tutorial that will brush any of your misgivings aside.
Fried sage leaves are simple to make and the perfect garnish for so many fall recipes. They are sometimes battered before frying. I skip this step, preferring a lighter crisp for my garnish.
This grilled pizza may have a few charred spots and idiosyncrasies you’d never find in a delivered or frozen pizza, but its chewy, taste of Autumn freshness, is simply delicious!
